You never know what Borås has to offer. One day there could be 2 people at a show, other days it can be 200… We where lucky enough to get around 100. Man, these kids know how to have a good time. But if you decide to stagedive, be sure you have someone that will catch you. One kid didn’t. Don’t worry, he was ok! But what made the biggest impression on us today was the catering. I could go on and on about this but I will make it short… WOW! One more thing, saw a movie in the car called Equilibrium. Did you like American Pshycho and Matrix, don’t miss this flick! Its probably real bad in the public eye, but I couldn’t help loving it... Later homes!

This morning we walked the streets of Västerås, having a fik, getting some new gear and checked out the local record store. Slow day… Next stop Eskilstuna and the club Blå. Although the drive is fairly short it took a while as we hit a smaller snowstorm on the way. Nice! Last time we played here was with the Hives just before they made it big. Remember this clearly as we played in front of 30 kids… Today was kinda similar but who cares, we had a blast! Oh, my snare broke. Don’t have a spare - New parts please! Support was Band Jolle, a local act that really made an impression with their Blonde Readhead/Sonic Youth noise... Check it out if it sounds like your cup of tea..

Smooth drive to Västerås, listened to some older Dischord records like Hoover, Regulator Watts and Minor Threat. Bringing back great memories! Tonight we hooked up with our compadres in The Colombos. Great seeing these guys again! During Wild & Crazy Per did it again. He threw his guitar in the floor, neck first, and thrashed it to pieces! We have a
photo for ya! Just came to my knowledge that this specific guitar belongs to someone else. Maybe we should stop playing that song. Our gear seem to break as soon as we hit the first note. Had a good conversation with Jonas (The Colombos) about the new Libertines album. As you may have read in our blog archives, we wanted clearance whether its genious or not. He made it clear it is. So the natural thing to ask here would be: What do you think?

Birmingham. Nothing much to be told about today but two things. Finally got hold of the book "Dear Boy, the Life of Kieth Moon". And we got to eat at our favourite Indian place again! Wohaa! The night was spent in the car, driving from Birmingham to Stansted Airport in London. Arrived at Stansted at 3AM, trying to kill another 4 hours by reading and walking around. No sleep for any of us. Oh, Per fell asleep (big suprise...) on the floor snoring like a hippopotamus.. People were amuzed. A beautiful sight! The flight back home was a blur, but it felt good to be back on swedish grounds.. Had one goal in sight: My bed!

Sheffield might be the nexus of the universe... So we headed over to Birmingham early the next morning. Day off today. We didnt do much. Basically just chilled at the hotel, went for a veggie burger with dessert, then we went to see the documentary "The Corporation".. Made you think alot about what companies you support by buying their products. Go see it and you will know what we mean..

8 hour drive in a Ford Mondeo packed with gear all the way up to the roof isn’t anything we recommend. All we did was trying to sleep. Don’t know if anyone really did. Finally in Glasgow the inside of our car started smelling like a dead animal. I was convinced it was about to burst into fire. But once again we were lucky. King Tuts is a small but legendary club where you can take a piss at the wonderwall! If we thought our car was packed you should have seen the stage. Two complete backlines including five keyboards, seven guitar amps, two bass amps and one drumset… It’s a wonder we fit. Or at second thought, did we? Sold out show, and we were on fire! Thank you Glasgow! Doggar: 15.

We arrived early morning in London. Now we where on a mission to get hold of a rental car. For your information: England has left hand traffic, and the freakin stearingwheel is on the right, and the stick is to the left… But to our surprise Johan drove that sucker like a pro! Impressive. After a few hours of sleep at the hotel we headed over to the Astoria. Doors where at 6.45PM and our showtime 7.05PM. The curfew had been pushed back 40 minutes, due to a gay club that started at 11PM…To our surprise, our show time had been changed last minute. Sorry to everyone that showed up at 8PM and missed it! We will make it up to you somehow! Later that night TSOOL did a second show arranged by Vice Magazine, at “Café de Paris”. We headed over there, fought our way in, chilled out and… well not much more.

Show today is in Stockholm Öst 100 with our good friends Junip. After soundcheck we played a game of Texas poker… An hour later I had some extra cash for food! Good stuff. Junip was amazing. They will release an EP and hopefully an album soon, be sure to check it out! Just in time for our encore, the DJ’s, who was more drunk than anyone at the club boosted out “Teenage Kicks”, and we had to calmly walk backstage again… Our plane took off at 6.40AM, so we didn’t get any sleep, but we got to experience a drunk promoter that started sleepwalking and talking crazy. Something about “play your violin”, and something about a baseball cap. Then suddenly he wanted to fight someone. We never figured out who…

At the breakfast table this morning we spotted some weirdo that ran up to our van and took a picture of our gear. We planned a citizen arrest if he would come back. We drove off avoiding both a parking ticket and an arrest to head back over the mountains to Oslo. One hour after we drove out of Bergen we were suddenly back where we started. We had been driving in a big circle. I thought it was hilarious, but Johan was a little less amused. His comment wont be posted here.. 8 Hours later we’re in Oslo. We had a rough time tonight. The sound Engineer didn’t really know what he was doing. Per saw his chance and couldn’t get enough of being sarcastic to the audience.. Next week its UK. Sweet.

Another 6 more hours to Bergen. Driving over the mountains and ofcourse we hit a snowstorm that almost got us sliding off the road. But Johan is a pro driver so we had nothing to worry about. Hitting Bergen at 4PM, right on schedule. Way to go! Bergen must be one of the most beautiful cities in northern Europe! But the rain… cheeze! Show was amazing, the crowd even better! We will be back sooner than later! But please start working on a freeway between Oslo and Bergen! We Swedes need it.

Starting the drive to Bergen at noon. Spent all day in the van listening to music, watching movies, and designing a DOLL desktop image. Download it at the Media section folks! In the Auto Jukebox today: Happy Mondays, The Bronx, Sonic Youth, The Beatles, Dizzie Rascal, Loranga, Mazarin och Dartanjang, Lionhart Brothers, Hot Snakes... Arrived in Gol, Norway at 9PM staying at Pers Hytter. A sleazy cabin mainly used by skiing tourists during the winter. It turned out that all of us (Besides David) had stayed here back in the 90’s when going snowboarding.. Dull day = Dull blog.. zzzzzzz
