Getting new gear this morning. Last night kinda broke more stuff than we thought. Nice! Hässleholm today. Someone told us that this venue is the oldest rock club in Sweden. Super small, felt like playing in someones apartment, but one of the coolest clubs we have played at in Sweden. The Mary Onettes was on the bill tonight too, together with the Colombos. Both great bands! Check them out if you get a chance! Next week we are heading to Bergen, Norway. I do not look forward to that drive. Maybe we get a chance to go snowboarding in Hemsedal on the way there…
We overslept on the ferry and was the last car off. 5 more minutes and we would have been on the way back to Finland… Phew! We listened to the new Libertines album in the car. Is this genious or just plain terrible? I actually don’t know… First time in Växjö. Show tonight was with The Mary Onettes and Svenska Akademin. Thanks to everyone at Smålands for making this night amazing! Per and Jonas had to throw their instruments at me in the last song, breaking my tom and snare head… I’m not paying for this. Bastards!
Back on the ferry From Turku to Stockholm. Some weirdo called Danni (w/band) is rockin out upstairs at the disco... Is this guy for real?? Hahahah.. The place was packed. People was going crazy. Weirdoz! Me, Oskar (sound guy) and Johan (tour manager) got stuck at a PS2 in the tax free area. Racing Colin McRay 2005 with an old Ford Escort. Awesome! Man, this ferry is slow!
Back on the road! Just arrived in Helsinki, Finland. Our third time here. Travelday all day yesterday from Gothenburg to Stockholm, and overnight ferry to Turku. Jonas worked on an intro in Garageband on Per’s computer, but it all ended up as a weird electro-goth tune, so that idea was put to rest… for now. We played a new song "Do You Love Me". Want more info? Ok. It was recorded during the time Das Not Compute got mastered. It was written and recorded between 1pm – 5pm one night in SGS. The idea was that we wanted this to be a B-Side, why it didn’t make the album in the end is a mystery… Need to dig deeper on this one…
